Мотомул МТ-300 имеет очень компактные размеры (ширина самосвального кузова составляет всего 740 мм, а колея – 620 мм), что позволяет ему проехать в любую дверь.
Трансмиссия – механическая коробка передач с клиноременным приводом (две скорости – вперёд и одна – назад). При этом максимальная скорость Мотомула, массой 120 кг, составляет 7 км/ч.
Обладает достаточно простым управлением, необходимо просто перевести рычаг переключения передач в необходимое положение и выжать рычаг сцепления. После этих простых манипуляций оборудование начнет движение. Сбалансированный центр тяжести дает возможность без проблем управлять тачкой методом перестановки задней оси. Для проведения разгрузки, достаточно просто разблокировать фиксатор кузова и приподнять ось в задней части за рукоятки управления.
